After completing a large-scale sculpture commission for Bermuda, I felt the need to get back to basics and to experiment in two-dimensional form.
This led to my investigating a diversity of different mediums and how they interacted during the creation of new collages. I revisited artists such as Pollock, Frank Stella, De Kooning, Fiona Rae and Basquiat.
The construction of these collages evolves by using an assortment of shapes, line, prints and paints, combined with graffiti and splashes of textured colour with both figurative and abstract forms within the completed piece.
